Certifications do not allow for you order or interpret specific lab work. This is determined by your license, scope of practice and state regulatory body. Our coursework is intended for educational purposes only and to ensure that you deeply understand the work you are doing with your clients and the labs readily available for health care practitioners. If you have questions regarding what labs you can order we recommend that you discuss with your legal team and evaluate your scope of practice. Additionally, you may discuss or apply for the ability to order labs with third party lab ordering platforms such as Rupa Health or Fullscript.
No, all of our courses take deep dives into pathophysiology, root cause, labs and practical application. Our level 1 program has a strong emphasis on understanding and working with the most sought after tests on the market but goes far beyond foundations. Our level 2 program is a very deep dive into the most common conditions and complaints you will see in clinical practice. We do recommend that if you have not been working with blood work, gut testing, hormone testing and mold testing for at least 3 years that you start with our level 1 program so you feel confident when entering the more advanced level 2 program.
